The final results of the We Choose virtual voting platform show that Iranian reformist candidates are the big winners of this global initiative.
Reformist candidates altogether received 67 percent of the votes – this includes Mir-Hossein Mousavi (28 percent); Hassan Rowhani (10.7 percent); Mohammad Khatami (9.6 percent); Nasrin Sotoudeh (8.5 percent); Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani (3.2 percent); Mostafa Tajzadeh (2.8 percent); Ahmad Zeidabadi (1.6 percent); Mehdi Karroubi (1.4 percent); Jafar Panahi (1.1 percent); and Narges Mohammadi (0.4 percent).
Reza Pahlavi received 27.9 percent.
All conservatives and principlists received 5 percent – this includes Mohsen Rezaei (1.0 percent); Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf (0.9 percent); Saeed Jalili (0.6 percent); Ali Akbar Velayati (0.6 percent); Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei (0.5 percent); and Mohammad Gharazi (0.2 percent).
Maryam Rajavi received 0.9 percent (see chart below).
